Hodgson Update, September 2014
Dear Friends and Family,
In our last update, we were in Fort Collins, Colorado on our way to the West Coast. In the last several weeks, we have had the opportunity to visit with some family and friends in Oregon and Washington. Originally, we planned on attending the Northwest conferences and at the same time visiting with supporters. Kim was going to stay in Portland with her mother starting in mid-October to prepare for having the baby.
We frequently tell our children “we make plans but plans change.”
This is a difficult thing to remember and accept when our carefully laid plans do not coincide with God’s plans.
Cory’s mother Jill has been battling cancer for five years, and according to the doctors she has only a few months to live.
We have wrapped up our time in the Northwest and on Thursday we will begin the long trek back to Grand Rapids to spend time with our family. We will not be attending the Northwest Conferences.
Please pray for our family during this difficult time, and for the long trip ahead. Below, we have attached a letter from GMI Executive Director Jeremy Clark, please take the time to look at that as well.
In His Service,
Cory, Kim, Naomi, and Elijah Hodgson

Dear Family and Friends of Cory and Kim,
Thanks so much for encouraging and praying for them during this difficult time. Stepping back and taking a look at the big picture, we give thanks and praise to the Lord that Cory and Kim are here in the States on their scheduled home assignment so they can spend quality time with Cory’s mom, Jill, and so they can have their baby here as well.
This weekend is the start of the missions conferences in the Northwest which Cory and Kim were going to visit in order to raise support for their ministry. Understandably, their plans have changed. Cory and Kim still need to raise $620 in monthly support to meet their budget. Please considering giving a monthly gift or increasing your monthly giving in order to support their ministry through Grace Ministries International. You can give monthly or even a one-time gift by clicking HERE. Thanks for your investment in this wonderful family!
Pressing towards the goal,
Jeremy Clark
Executive Director
